To all our readers: this is just a short announcement to let you know that from now on we will only update the Romanian version of our blog. Thank you all for your comments, interest and support! We might relaunch this version as well at some point in the future, but until then, check out our main website. Cheers!
In the September 2008 issue the guys from .net magazine UK continued their series Showcase / Gallery, which features “14 of the best, most inspirational designs from around the web”. We had the pleasure to be one of the 14 designs showcased, with our main site www.x3studios.com. Thanks a lot! We also added some pics of the magazine on our flickr page.
A few months ago we were asked to be official partners of the first Hardcore Marketing conference held in Timisoara - and of course, we said yes! And here is the result: www.hardcoremarketing.ro. I hope you’ll enjoy the site’s visuals - since it’s in Romanian, it’ll be difficult to understand much of it, I know ;).
Our work is not done on this project, stay tuned… (yep, this is one of those teasers :))
The Bellevue Residence project meant for us the first step into to a new direction: architectural visualizations. Today we launch the second step in this direction: the microsite www.x3archviz.com.The purpose of this microsite is to showcase some of the possibilities when it comes to architectural visualizations, and it was conceived as a small gallery. Right now we have 3 different scenes included (with 2 different angles for each), with another 3 being in the works and should be published shortly. The case studies section will also be updated. But until then, check out www.x3archviz.com. Any feedback is more than welcome.
This microsite is the first in a series of such sites that will follow this fall. We believe it is less cluttered and more efficient to create such microsites for each individual service we offer, rather than trying to include everything in our main website.
UPDATE 12 SEPT 2008: We just added a new scene with two angles for it - NeoBaroque Bedroom. We also modified the way the ‘Making Of’ section displays. Have fun!
We launched Extrude Studio Architecture. This time we decided to let the client do the talking:
“We wanted a website able to communicate with the visitor both directly and on an intuitive basis our way of approaching a project, but also the two-sided partnership between us and our clients. The structural and dynamic clarity and simplicity, dominated by a self sustained expressive load, are the basic coordinates of the visual experience the site has to offer, concepts that we recognise as fundaments for the architectural design style promoted by our office. The duality, the expressive symbolic symmetry constantly present as part of the graphic design, is an expression of our concept about the partnership designer-client, key elements that constantly shape and reflect each other. The X3 Studios team understood our needs, and furthermore, felt and completed our vision. They are all dedicated, talented people, highly professional, which now, at the end of our collaboration, or perhaps better said, at the beginning of it, we got to consider as friends. Most surely a partner our office has gained for all the projects that will follow.
We are sure you will find our website most useful, that it will convince you of our professionalism, seriousness and quality of services, and nevertheless, that you will enjoy the visual experience it has to offer.”
Dragoş Cutova, Project Manager Extrude Studio
With the summer coming to an end, we can slowly but surely return to our blog. And to start out with a more optimistic touch, we want to tell you about the most recent Flash websites we launched (Poesis Hotel & Restaurant, Tonik Gym and X3 Studios V5), that received a lot of “love” from some of the major online galleries out there.
We thank Pagecrush, NewWebPick, Designlicks, Xhilarate, Designcharts, TheBestDesigns, Lookom, Mostinpired, Dailyslurp, Webdesignawards, Designyoutrust, Kreativos and all of you who wrote about these sites on your blogs, and of course we really want to thank the hundreds of Chinese guys who appreciated our work and mentioned it
Today is the big day we finally launch our new site - version 5, for those who keep track of such things ;). We received a lot of relevant feedback to our previous site, which definitely helped us with the creation of this one. The entire site structure was reorganized and content completely redone. But most of all, we invite you to explore your creative side with a certain site feature that should become obvious within second from entering the site (at least we hope so).
Given the site’s complexity, there could be some minor bugs that escaped our testing process. If there is anything at all you notice as being off, please let us know. Other than that, we hope you’ll enjoy it!
