Logo created by X3 Studios featured in LogoLounge 4

Timişoara, February 28th 2008 - The logo created by the interactive design studio X3 Studios for Helios Art Gallery was featured in the 4th volume of LogoLounge.

LogoLounge is a catalogue dedicated entirely to logos. The jury is formed by international representatives, presided by Bill Gardner. The jury gathers once a year to select the best and most exciting works in logo design of that year.

The fourth volume of the LogoLounge series provides 2,000 totally new logos. The logo created by Sorin Bechira, Art Director at X3 Studios, for Helios Art Gallery from Timişoara, Romania is also featured.

The specific of the art gallery was not to promote new media, but focus on traditional and classic art, expressed by graphics, sculpture and painture. Greek mythology, where Helios is the God of Sun, was taken as a starting point; the symbol stands for sunbeams. The spiral suggests the idea of continuity and membership for the Plastic Arts Union - stated Sorin Bechira.
